31 Days of Flavors of August July 17, 2008
Posted by Suzette in : Clicks4eucation Updates , add a comment31 Flavors of August is coming soon to Clicks 4 Education
This is a fun summer event sponsored by Clicks 4 Education and Surf 4 the Earth. Simply join both traffic exchanges if you are not a member already. Then go and surf at both of the sites each day to find a flavor of the day. Once you find the flavor of the day you will need to send in a support ticket with the ice cream flavors. You will need to surf 100 pages at each traffic exchange to find these flavors which come up on a specific page while surfing. Once you have sent in 23 flavors at each te (surfed 100 sites at each te and sent in flavor for at least 23 days of August) Then you will earn, yes I said earn, not win, 1 pt of Ben& Jerrys. Please note that these will be gift certificates mailed to you for 1 pt which is redeemable in Ben & Jerrys ice cream stores or at grocery stores that carry Ben & Jerrys and is available to USA residents only. You must be sure to submit your mailing address so we can mail the prize to eligible participants. Anyone found cheating or if their account is not in good standing will forfit the prize. So on top of the advertising that you need for your website you can actually earn something more than banner impressions or text links as bonus for surfing.

School Fundraising with Clicks4education January 26, 2008
Posted by Suzette in : Clicks4eucation Updates , 1 comment so farClicks4education is a unique traffic exchange that allows its members to support their local school while promoting their website. How does this work. People join clicks4education for free and then they can add their local school to our approved school list. The school must be in the USA and be k-12. Members submit a simple form which includes school name, website and payment information. Then, while a member visits other members sites he earn site visits back to his own site. However, with clicks4education he can donate part of these visits to his school which is converted to cash for the school. Members can also shop in our online store and may choose to donate part of their cash back to the school of their choice. Clicks4education also donates 5% of its sales to Firstbooks, an organization that donates new books to underprivileged children in the USA. So if you are looking for a unique way to raise funds for school and have a blog or website that needs advertising why not give clicks4education a try?
Little Wolf’s Christmas January 7, 2008

Little Wolf’s Christmas is my first picture book that tell story of Christmas from the eyes of Mexican Gray wolf pup’s eyes. It is beautifully illustrated in water color by Jill Taylor. The story was inspired by work with Apache and Navajo children near the White Mountains where the Mexican Gray Wolf was released unto its native land. The story shows life in a wolf pack so that children can learn to appreciate this often misunderstood and misrepresented animal.
Create your own printable bookmarks July 17, 2008
Posted by Suzette in : Uncategorized , add a commentHave you ever wished you could offer your own printable bookmarks to visitors to your site but didn’t know how to do it or the programming to offer this was too expensive for what you wanted. Well with Clicks4education you can easily do this. Every upgraded member at clicks4education can create and upload bookmarks that people can print off. Click bookmarks on the sidebar and if upgraded it will let you create bookmarks. If you are a free member you may only print those available off on your printer. To create your bookmark you will need to upload a graphic- the website gives you the pixel size you need for your bookmark. You can create these in photo shop or a banner maker as long as you can set the size or have someone else create it by giving them the size that is listed there and note that the graphics need to be jpg or gif. Once you upload the graphic (we host it for you) the you will create the back of your bookmark. Here you can list your website or information about your product. When you click print to print your own bookmark you will find the specific url for your bookmark so that you can easily link your printable bookmark to your website if you would like to offer them to your website customers for free. These work great to promote books, art, artwork, websites, blogs or websites. Just be sure to make the graphics fun so that people will want them.
Personal Recommended Programs page for Members
Posted by Suzette in : Uncategorized , add a commentTraffic exchanges basically work on the theory that you view my site then I view your site. Well Clicks4education does give members this basic tool to promote their website. However, Clicks4education offer many unique tools besides the donating to schools function which sets us apart in that your advertising efforts can also help your local school. However, there is also the recommended programs page which allows members to promote various programs, or websites on one splash page. This is extremly helpful if you do not have your own host but would like to list y our own programs. Simply go to the promote page and scroll down until you find recommended programs page. Then add the website urls/affiliate links with names and description of up to ten sites you would like to promote. You can upload your own picture and add your name to it. Then grab the url to promote in traffic exchanges or other programs. We host it for you. No one tells you can only choose from xyz sites or these types of site ect. So you promote what you want as long as it fits our terms of service. Get to creating!
Word Press Tutorial January 7, 2008
Posted by Suzette in : Learning the Ropes of Website Advertising , add a commentI love Word Press Made Easy. If you are like me, I wanted a wordpress blog because it was so much customizable but my very first blog I had to have someone install and set up for me. Well, no more since I tried the tutorial. It is basically a down loadable tutorial that walks you through the steps of installing and setting up your own wordpress blog on your server. It covers everything everything from how to FTP, changing themes, adding plugins, links, posts and more. Basically it assumes you know nothing about setting up a blog so that even a non technical person can do it. Mike Paetzold backs up his program with a forum you can join and if you have problems he is very easy to contact. The tutorial walks you through step by step which is great for visual learners. I have rarely recommended products but this is a must have for people that want to learn how to set up their own blog so they can save money on updating and setting up over the long haul.Word Press Made Easy
